Who came up with this crazy idea to ‘age gracefully’?
I couldn’t think of anything worse, personally.
Who the frog wants to age gracefully?
We should be ageing spectacularly.
We should be creating a sensation.
Yelling from the rooftops.
Squealing with glee.
Running headlong into the sea.
Embarrassing our kids.
Dancing on tables.
Eating too much cake.
Tasting all the wine.
Wearing inspiring clothes.
Lighting each other up.
Pulling each other up.
Ageing gracefully to me is a euphemism for looking old but trying to be positive.
Or just as bad - focusing more on health and vitality then wrinkles.
Is this the best we can do?
If we're going to reframe, let's aim for Flipping Fabulous, Wrinkles And All.
Let's focus on Sensational In My Skin, rather than body positive.
Out with the meek words and shrinking worlds.
In with Fabulocity!
